Student Spotlight: Environmental Stewardship in Action!

At RSA, our students’ talents and drive extend far beyond the classroom!

Meet Mason Babcock, who demonstrated incredible initiative and civic leadership over the summer by organizing a successful community cleanup along the Santa Ana River bottom, proving that our young leaders are actively shaping a cleaner, healthier future for Riverside.

Partnering with Riverside County Watershed Protection, Mason coordinated the entire event at Martha McLean-Anza Narrows Park, bringing together local volunteers to protect our regional watershed. To make the day even more special, several RSA teachers came out to roll up their sleeves and work right alongside him!

Cleaning the river bottom directly prevents pollutants from downstream flow, protecting regional water quality and native wildlife habitats. It also makes Martha McLean-Anza Narrows Park a safer, cleaner, and more welcoming space for local families and parkgoers.

Thank you, Mason, for your leadership and dedication to keeping Riverside beautiful!

Way to go, Android!
