The vision of the Riverside STEM Academy school counseling department is to provide all students with an equal opportunity for social-emotional growth, academic success, and college and career readiness. The counseling department will strive to build a safe and inclusive learning environment and empower each student to reach their maximum potential and gain the necessary skills to become well-rounded members of society.

The mission of the Riverside STEM Academy school counseling department is to provide proactive, individualized support that addresses students' unique social-emotional and academic needs by working simultaneously with parents, guardians, educators, staff, and community members to ensure all students at STEM become responsible and successful citizens.
